Hello Everyone

I think its been about 4 weeks since I started this and the truth is I am enjoying it way too much. Most nights I can be found on my couch tapping away on my laptop swapping between, putting up writers work, reading to my son and finding more people to connect with on Twitter so they can check out some awesome writers.

I worry about my editing choices, keeping the font style straight and getting everything up ASAP. I hate waiting around and I love going through each submission. By the time I'm ready to send an email to a writer to tell them their book is up, I want to read the novel, but there is always someone else's work waiting. Another piece that someone has slaved over for months if not years and it too deserves my time. Of cause sometimes I do stop and do a little reading and I am blown away by the talent that comes through my inbox. I expect to see some crap sometimes, not everyone is a good writer but the talent here intimidates the hell out of me. I do like to do my own writing but I don't have anywhere near the well polished skills I see again and again.

Now that this site is under way, I would like to thank you all so much for your support. I have been watching the collection grow, which brings me back to why I first started this. I was trawling around Amazon, and having trouble trying to figure out who the indie authors were. So I decided to make my own collection, and began Indie eBooks.

I hope both readers and writers who find their way here enjoy this as much as I do.

Cheers
Nadine

P.S. I'm in the process of adding genre labels to all the books. Any writers who would like to email me what they want their books listed under would be appreciated. Multiple labels are fine.

  1. This is such a fantastic idea and blog! I'm seriously considering going the indie publishing route and it's nice to know that there's a site like this that will help the growing number of people who decide to stop playing the waiting game with agents and traditional publishers.
