The Cash Chronicles is a series of books that tells the story of subsequent generations of the Cash family. In Book 1, Caleb and his intended betrothed, Winnifred Marshall, wake up in 2141. The last either remember is being in an ice cave in 1918. The United States is not as they knew it. What there is left of it is now torn apart by civil unrest and in the hands of a mighty dictator, The Primera, better known as Millicent Davis.

Bobbye Terry is the multi-published writer of fantasy, suspense and romantic comedy novels under her own name, her solo pseudonym, Daryn Cross, and her co-authored one, Terry Campbell. Her previous works have garnered finalist awards in the Booksellers’ Best and other RWA-sponsored contests. Bobbye’s most recent releases, writing as Daryn Cross, are Millicent and Frozen Assets, part of a sci-fi romance series, now available on Kindle and Smashwords, and her first mystery novella, writing as Bobbye Terry, Buried in Briny Bay, part of a series, is now available from Turquoise Morning Press. What will readers like about your book? 

They have remarked about how, on both Millicent, the prequel, and Frozen Assets, the writing is very tight. They love the world that is unfolding over the centuries, and the generous dose of humor in the works.

Why did you self-publish? 

This was a new genre for me, and I wanted the books to be novellas, and, if well received, have an opportunity to expand into full length novels for given segments of missing time. The novellas are written about subsequent generations of the same family. There is a lot of history not covered, but alluded to. Because this was a significant departure from my other published material, it seemed to make sense. Besides, it was enticing to test the waters on the new frontier.

Who are your favorite authors in your genre?

I jump a lot in this series from cyberpunk to time tavel, to biopunk, to steampunk and alternate history, so the authors are just emerging in some of these fields as they pertain to romance. It wouldn’t be fair to try to mention names here. My reading tastes are very eclectic.
